Joakim Johansson

is an associate professor and senior lecturer in political science at Mälardalen University. He has conducted a number of studies that touched on various aspects of masculinity in contexts of Swedish politics. He has also studied ethnic relations, integration, discrimination, and attitudes to diversity. He is currently researching the securitization turn in Swedish migration policy, following the European refugee crisis in 2015.
